2023 DJI summer sale is on, with up to 23% off

If you missed out on the recent Memorial Day 2023 sale, don’t worry. Many of those killer deals are back — at least in terms of DJI sales. That sale morphed right into another 2023 DJI summer sale — this one in the name of Father’s Day.

Between now and June 18, 2023, which is Father’s Day, DJI is running a major sale on its drones and action cameras. And even better is the fact that some of these discounts are even steeper than those offered for the Memorial Day 2023 sale, meaning procrastinators might actually have won out by missing that sale and instead shopping this one.

Here are the top deals running as part of the 2023 DJI summer sale:

20% off the DJI Air 2S and Air 2S Fly More Combo from the 2023 DJI summer sale

We’ll start with the top deal of the entire DJI Father’s Day 2023 sale, and that’s an incredible 20% off both the DJI Air 2S and Air 2S Fly More Combo. Here are how those prices break down on either product:

The DJI Mini 3 launched in December 2022 at $559 for the base model (or as low as $469 if you already have a controller). With that, it’s landed a spot in my guide to the best DJI drones under $500, depending on your financial gymnastics.

2023 DJI summer sale: How to get an extra 5% discount

The savings don’t stop there; an extra 5% back might be in your future. If you shop the 2023 DJI Summer Sale through DJI’s Amazon storefront, there are two easy ways to save an additional 5%.

Use the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card: This credit card is generally considered the best Amazon credit card, as it offers an automatic 5% back on most purchases from Amazon (as well as Whole Foods), which you can stack with the 2023 DJI summer sale discounts named above. The downfall? You’ll have to be an Amazon Prime member to be eligible to apply for the card, which entails a $139 annual fee.

If you don’t want to pay that annual fee for Amazon Prime membership just to qualify for the card, there’s one more credit card to consider.

Use the Chase Freedom Flex Credit Card: The Chase Freedom Flex credit card has no annual fee, yet it’s rewards structure is absolutely delightful. It offers 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases in designated categories each quarter, plus 5% on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards and 3% on dining and at drugstores (and 1% on everything else)

For the second quarter of 2023 (which started on April 1 and runs through June 30, 2023), the bonus categories are purchases made from Lowe’s and Amazon.com. That means you’ll get $50 back when you purchase an $1,000 drone (or anything else you might buy from Amazon).

Apply for the Chase Freedom Flex Credit Card (which has no annual fee and no membership requirements). Plus, Chase is currently offering a $200 bonus just for signing up, which you earn simply by charging $500 to the card within the first three months of account opening.

Plus, Amazon offers free and ultra-fast shipping for most orders. Returns are easy; Amazon sends you shipping labels to cover the shipping cost, or you can simply print back the returned items to the Customer Service desk at Whole Foods which can be even easier. Refunds are fast, with the money back to your account within 3-5 days of the return being processed.
