ANRA Technologies Huddle Webinar on Common Operational Picture (COP) For Critical Infrastructure Inspections and Security

anra technologies huddle webinar on common operational picture cop for critical infrastructure inspections and security

ANRA Technologies, a global leader in uncrewed traffic management and operational solutions, will host the seventh episode of its Huddle Webinar series on May 1, 2024. ANRA Huddle brings together aviation and uncrewed systems experts to discuss exciting topics in autonomous aircraft, robotics, and the software and systems that power them.

Hubble #7 will explore the concept of a Common Operating Picture (COP) for critical infrastructure inspections and security and its impact on uncrewed aerial operations. Participants will discover how a COP fosters shared understanding among stakeholders, which is crucial for asset security and safety.

A COP ensures all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the current situation. Understanding the who, what, and where they operate above your infrastructure is essential to securing your assets. A COP allows for the ability to discern if there may be a potential threat or someone who belongs. This shared awareness helps prevent misunderstandings, reduce the risk of accidents, and improve overall safety during aerial operations. This COP gives decision-makers a holistic view of the airspace, weather conditions, aircraft positions, and other relevant data. This aids in making well-informed decisions, optimizing flight routes, and adapting strategies to changing circumstances.

During the webinar, Huddle panelists will share their insights and provide practical strategies for effective COP implementation in your operations, ensuring you can immediately apply what you learn. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A session with the panelists and get answers to their questions.

Highlights will include:

  • Enhancing shared awareness and preventing misunderstandings with a COP.
  • The COP’s role in reducing accidents and improving overall safety during aerial operations.
  • Leveraging a COP for making well-informed decisions, optimizing flight routes, and adapting strategies to changing circumstances.

Huddle #7 will feature the following panelists:

  • Miriam McNabb – Editor, DroneLife.com
  • Nathaniel Robie, Director, Critical Infrastructure and Utilities, ANRA Technologies
  • Peter Kalaitzidis – Robotics Program Manager, New York Power Authority
  • Thomas Adams – Former FBI C-UAS Lead
