Ismaning, DE – During October, our Flight Operations team collaborated closely with the German Army to test, analyse, and strategize the integration of emerging defence technologies into the Bundeswehr.

This demonstration aimed to recreate a realistic operational environment. The primary objective was to evaluate the integration of the Grille within military communication systems, ensuring coordination across all echelons and enhance interoperability as well as process automation.

We successfully conducted military logistics mission alongside the German Army, also partnering with KNDS for swapping the freight from unmanned air to ground transport. The practised missions spanned several kilometres, where the Grille transported its payload from point A to point C, touching down briefly at a point B for reloading. Additionally, the Electronic Warfare Unit (EloKa) executed jamming tests.

In collaboration with KNDS, we integrated our ground control segment (GCS) into the BOXER, allowing us to dispatch, monitor, and fly missions directly from the armoured vehicle. In conclusion, it complements our ecosystem as a mobile and protected version of the patient evacuation coordination cell (P-PECC) for robotic and autonomous systems.

Our partnership with the German Armed Forces, following the principle of “Gemeinsam Stark” (“Together We Are Strong”), has been instrumental in our journey. This collaboration enabled us to test all RASEVAC assets within tactical-operational scenarios. Additionally, soldiers of various ranks had the opportunity to experience the current capabilities of our technology firsthand.

We remain committed to advancing our technology and strengthening our partnership with the German Armed Forces. As our CEO, Ernst Rittinghaus, expressed, “I am convinced that we are on the right track and that we must move forward courageously in this direction.”
