First deliveries from our new sites in TX and CA. Couldn't be prouder of the amazing people that make up Prime Air. These are careful first steps that we will turn into giant leaps for our customers over the next number of years. Customers are our obsession, safety is our imperative, the future of delivery is our mandate, technology is unlocking that future and our people are the foundation that it all sits on! For all those who work at Prime Air...I humbly bow before you in thanks!!!

With all due respect, but how noisy is that? I know I am the only one not praising you about It, but when I look at the sky where I live I only see dozens of dozens of pelicans, seagulls and birds of all kinds flying peacefully in silence. To imagine a future where drones are visual pollution is sad. If that technology is used to delivery medicine to remote places is one thing...But if that ends up being the new way to deliver consumer goods and pizzas I am not sure that is really a progress. Do you guys really ask "why" when you do things? Or is it only about the whims of the customers who want faster and cannot follow the natural flow of life? Maybe we humans are very intelligent but we certainly lack wisdom... But It is hard when we are inmerse on groupthinking and nobody question us. Our responsability is great with the future and eventually we all will be questioned sooner or later. I like Amazon and my comment is respectful but also sincere. Nature does need more visual and auditive pollution just to deliver faster.

I worked with drones when I was in the Marine Corps and in Afghanistan. I must say it’s pretty awesome to see drones at home delivering smiles! I’ll be looking for one at my house when they make their way to LA!

Congrats to the entire Prime Air team, both past and present! Most of the world will never appreciate the years of hard work, innovation, and learning that made this possible. It's thrilling to finally see it all come together for our customers.

Way to go everyone! Makes me wish I was still there...ok...retirement is pretty awesome too!

No more proximity shops, no more mall, no more drivers, no more salespeople and so on: a new economic model and a new social model. Innovation runs too fast (what about #AI ?) and I'm afraid that new generations will not have time to change mindset to recalibrate projects for their future. Only one thing is absolutely necessary: studying, a lot. Congrats David Carbonfor your project, anyway.

Hi David, what research has been done on birds and wildlife that will be affected by these drones flying through the air? Climate change is already having a detrimental affect of birds and numbers are dropping rapidly. I cannot see any way that this will help the issue, only make it worse. I for one, would rather see birds in the air than drones. The need to impress consumers gone mad.

Kudos! But why does it look like it’s stuck in a tree?? I do think it is a step up from delivery trucks. Looking forward to the day one lands on my doorstep in Houston.
