Flyability to Introduce New Drone Technology at Denver Event

Ultrasonic Thickness PayloadFlyability, a leader in drone solutions for confined spaces, has announced an upcoming event in Denver, Colorado, to unveil its new ultrasonic thickness payload in North America. Scheduled for May 1st and 2nd, the event will showcase the latest addition to the Elios 3 drone series.

The Denver launch event is set to offer a hands-on experience with the Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) payload, providing attendees with an opportunity to explore its features directly. The two-day agenda includes a detailed product presentation, an expert panel featuring product advisors, additional guest presentations, and optional paid training sessions.

Originally introduced at Flyability’s 2024 User Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland, the UT payload has been developed in collaboration with Cygnus Instruments. It is designed to enhance access to difficult inspection areas, such as ship hulls and industrial tanks, through a non-destructive testing approach. The payload features an articulated arm, a remotely operated couplant dispenser, interchangeable probe heads tailored for various environments, and a cleaning module to prepare test sites.

“We are incredibly excited to be hosting this event in Denver, where we can share the new UT payload with our American market and give people a chance to ask us their questions about what it can do,” said Junio Palomba, Managing Director of Flyability’s US office. “It’s also another opportunity to gather people who work with the Elios 3 in one room to share ideas and present our vision for Flyability’s future – in the US and the wider world.”

The North American launch event for the UT payload will be held at the Sheraton Denver Downtown. Interested parties are encouraged to register early as slots are limited.
