RICOH THETA X

Ricoh is more known for its printers and copiers than for drone cameras. The Ricoh Theta X is the company’s latest 360-degree camera and a direct competitor of the Insta360 X3. Both are great cameras for capturing 360° photos and stabilized videos.

The Ricoh Theta X offers 11K stills resolution, which is 60.5MP, unmatched in its market segment. It can shoot 5.7K 360 stabilized videos with up to 30fps. The footage can be stored on built-in memory or an external micro SD card.

The heart of the camera is a twin 48mp Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensor and a Qualcomm QCS605 image processor. It has a large 2.25-inch color LCD screen for easy operation. Theta X 360 is powered by a removable DB-110 battery with 1350mAh. The camera can record about 30 minutes at the highest resolution with one charger.

At the bottom of the Ricoh Theta X is a tripod that allows it to be installed on a FPV drone. 360 cameras offer a unique perspective from the air.
